After 10 minutes, Roberto Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alenquer SS and the Sopro F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alenquer SS's goalkeeper Renan Soeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adalberto Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serginho Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alenquer SS's goalkeeper Renan Soeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Renan Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Vaz in the 26th minute of the match. Serginho Ribeiro came out of the goal and Hélio Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gino Penha was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Alenquer SS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 33rd minute, Edinho Correia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Serginho Ribeiro, passed just outside the right post. 39 minutes into the match, Sopro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Correia came free, but Serginho Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edinho Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

A collision led to Alenquer SS getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Juvenal da Costa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alenquer SS's zone, Adalberto Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Soeiro came out of the goal and Adalberto Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Sopro F.C.'s Clemente Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Soeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Gino Penha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alenquer SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sopro F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Sopro F.C. booed when Alenquer SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alenquer SS's Edinho Correia in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Edinho Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Renan Soeiro made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adalberto Tróia in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Soeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alenquer SS were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
