Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Andrade started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Bento FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. When FC Show's Fabinho Sousa in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bento FC's goalie prevented a goal. 7 minutes into the match, Bento FC's Augusto Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Meireles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Bento FC. Gilson Castro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ronaldo Meireles. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, FC Show's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Andrade came free, but Ronaldo Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Show's Enrique Guimarães got a free kick in the 18th minute. Toninho Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Andrade in the 27th minute of play forced FC Show's goalkeeper Ronaldo Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Augusto Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ronaldo Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Augusto Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Show's Enrique Guimarães got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Enrique Guimarães's late challenge caught a Bento FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Andrade in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldo Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 minutes, Gilvan Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Show and the Bento FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilvan Perez hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Meireles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Andrade's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When Toninho Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Bento FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Moraes couldn't finish the play. Ronaldo Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Moraes in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

A collision led to FC Show getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Humberto Salgado hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toninho Moraes got free with Ronaldo Meireles in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 played minutes Bento FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Castro. Ronaldo Meireles acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gilson Castro. Gilvan Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fabinho Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ediberto Mello got free with Ronaldo Meireles in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronaldo Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Mello in the 89th minute of play. If Gilvan Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bento FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
