In the 23rd match minute, AA Serginho MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Cordeiro having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in AA Serginho MZC's zone, Luiz Gustavo Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Cordeiro came out of the goal and Luiz Gustavo Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Andrade in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Augusto Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Cordeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. José Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Andrade in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Cordeiro saved AA Serginho MZC from getting behind. Augusto Andrade took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Cordeiro. José Cordeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Elder Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elder Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bento FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
