After having played for 9 minutes, Richard Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rondinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rondinha's Nildo Severo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Dudu Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Vinhas having to interfere. StoneHorns Soccer Club's Lúcio Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Richard Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Vinhas having to interfere. In the 24thth minute of the game Dudu Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but StoneHorns Soccer Club's Rafa Vinhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laércio Leme might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafa Vinhas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laércio Leme ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute Dudu Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dudu Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rondinha getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Laércio Leme hit a great ball. With a little luck, Rondinha's Manuel Simões got control of the ball when Lúcio Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldir da Silva made a kick off. If Dudu Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Dudu Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafa Vinhas was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. A collision led to StoneHorns Soccer Club getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rodrigo Leite hit a great ball. Rafa Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cássio Mineiro's late challenge caught a Rondinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, StoneHorns Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Rafa Vinhas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dudu Ferreira in the 79thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Lúcio Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Manuel Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir da Silva in the 83rd minute of play. Richard Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Simões having to interfere. Manuel Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafa Vinhas was a little too slow when Dudu Ferreira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-1. Manuel Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir da Silva in the 97th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rondinha walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
