Oaken Eleven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean Teles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Tomás Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meia Lua FC's protests and gave Tomás Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Tomás Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Iuri da Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enio Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rafael Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Iuri da Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oaken Eleven's protests and gave Iuri da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Meia Lua FC booed when Oaken Eleven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iuri da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Passos in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Lira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Lira was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Jean Teles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jean Teles really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Eduardo Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rafael Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 38th minute of the match Tomás Tróia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tomás Tróia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 39th minute, Tomás Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguinho Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Lira having to interfere. If Jean Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimir Queirós to strike the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Meia Lua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Queirós came free, but Enio Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Meia Lua FC booed when Oaken Eleven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iuri da Cunha hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Jean Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jean Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Teles in the 71st minute of play forced Oaken Eleven's goalkeeper Rafael Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Teles in the 84th minute of play forced Oaken Eleven's goalkeeper Rafael Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th match minute, Oaken Eleven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Rosado to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Jean Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimir Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Oaken Eleven players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
