Silvério Zanette hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. With his leg Elano Maia managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Atlético da Colina's Silvério Zanette fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elano Maia was a little too slow when Pedro Luiz Rosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Atlético da Colina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Zanette to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Nando Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jucatan's supporters rose to their feet, but Nando Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 15 minutes, Nando Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jucatan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nando Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nando Arantes in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jucatan's Nando Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elano Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz Rosa in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Atlético da Colina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Kaká Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nando Arantes's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute of the match, Luiz Fernando Oliveira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elano Maia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The wind increased when Gabriel Souza made the kick off in the second half. Elano Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luiz Rosa went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 57 minutes, Kaká Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jucatan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arthur Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Arantes came free, but Arthur Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético da Colina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Gabriel Souza scored to the left of an out of position Arthur Bastos, making the score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Jucatan's Aníbal Quadros got a free kick in the 71st minute. Elano Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nando Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Jucatan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nando Arantes couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Atlético da Colina's Arthur Bastos got control of the ball when Juarês Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nando Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Atlético da Colina were victorious despite being under pressure from Jucatan for much of the match.
