The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Romário Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jardel Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg André Luiz Urbano managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Cats Meow F.C.'s Noel Breckenfeld fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jardel Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Hendrik Zonneveld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Lima in the 43rd minute of the match. Romário Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Romário Lima made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Jardel Proença kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Hendrik Zonneveld. That made the score 3-1 in the 53 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walmir Maciel during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan Hendrik Zonneveld made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Jardel Proença sent off a good shot on target. André Luiz Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Gomes in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Votuverava's zone, Noel Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Urbano came out of the goal and Noel Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Urbano having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Votuverava's Jardel Proença sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Hendrik Zonneveld narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 82 minutes, Jardel Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Votuverava's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 played minutes Romário Lima rounded Cats Meow F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-3. Jan Hendrik Zonneveld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 95th minute Romário Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Hendrik Zonneveld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
