Hélder Vergílios short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Cristiano Miranda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 39th match minute, westie da colina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Leão to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Walmyr Bertassi from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Cristiano Miranda's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 48 minutes, Michel Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrancas E.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Paulista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Telmo Recife to strike the kick off in the second half. Júlio Goiano tried in the game's 52nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Eriberto Schmidt. An annoying self made goal, 2-2. In the 55th minute, Caio Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Hélder Vergílio put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cristiano Miranda. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Paulista in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Hélder Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in westie da colina's zone, Michel Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Miranda came out of the goal and Michel Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telmo Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eriberto Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Vergílio might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélder Vergílio ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristiano Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caio Lara's shot from short distance in the 91st minute.
