Michel Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bernardo Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes, Adelino Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galera HC and the M1to fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernardo Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tales Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When M1to fc's Tales Bittencourt in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galera HC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th match minute, M1to fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. M1to fc's Iuri Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas de Queiroz in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Galera HC's Simão Gerber made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iuri Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simão Gerber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iuri Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Iuri Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, M1to fc's Michel Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Massa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tales Bittencourt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Massa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Galera HC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tales Bittencourt was the one to do the kick off. If Silas de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Dorival Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silas de Queiroz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Galera HC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ricardo Luz hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match, Dorival Nogueira sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Iuri Vieira showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. If Silas de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Sena's late challenge caught a M1to fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Sena helped the player get up and apologised. The corner ended in Ricardo Luz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galera HC's Bernardo Massa did a great save. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Silas de Queiroz took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Iuri Vieira to make any attempt to save it. Simão Gerber struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Iuri Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galera HC. After a rather tough play, M1to fc's José Pedro Meirelles got a free kick in the 87th minute. Iuri Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galera HC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
