Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Natanael Ceresso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Baiaozinho's Oswaldo de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Corrêa in the 10th minute of play. Dé Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Dé Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laurentino da Gama's supporters rose to their feet, but Dé Corrêa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswaldo de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natanael Ceresso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oswaldo de Salles having to make a save. After having played for 35 minutes, Dorival Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baiaozinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorival Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Laurentino da Gama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match, Afonso Gomes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafinha Mendes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dorival Paivas short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Rafinha Mendes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Afonso Gomes made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aníbal Hermes during the 53rd minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laurentino da Gama's goalkeeper Rafinha Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Afonso Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rafinha Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafinha Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Paiva in the 74th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laurentino da Gama's goalkeeper Rafinha Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Natanael Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorival Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
