Spectators: 7096 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Sá kicked off to start the match. Allan Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Audax Paulista booed when Saldanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Saldanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 played minutes Saldanha got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Arantes. After 13 minutes of play, Audax Paulista's Constantin-Maximilian Melchert made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saldanha! Hélio Penha shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 18th minute, Ricardo Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Vasconcelos took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Madureira. Valdir Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lúcio Eger struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Valdir Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Audax Paulista. In the 25th minute, Cipriano Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Vasconcelos got free with Valdir Madureira in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Luís Fabiano Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Saldanha's zone, Sílvio Luiz Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Madureira came out of the goal and Sílvio Luiz Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Valdir Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Audax Paulista. If Ricardo Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Ricardo Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Sarmento having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Constantin-Maximilian Melchert came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Audax Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantin-Maximilian Melchert couldn't finish the play. Saldanha's Valdir Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Paraense in the 57th minute of play. Erasmo Estevon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdir Madureira having to make a save. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdir Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert ran back to his position shaking his head. 62 minutes into the match, Audax Paulista's Constantin-Maximilian Melchert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdir Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Audax Paulista's Constantin-Maximilian Melchert in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saldanha's goalie prevented a goal. If Constantin-Maximilian Melchert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin-Maximilian Melchert in the 69th minute of play forced Saldanha's goalkeeper Valdir Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luís Fabiano Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Audax Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fabiano Fernandes couldn't finish the play. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A wasted opportunity for Audax Paulista. A collision led to Saldanha getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cipriano Arantes hit a great ball. Valdir Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Fernandes in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Constantin-Maximilian Melchert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Valdir Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, Saldanha's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin-Maximilian Melchert came free, but Valdir Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Audax Paulista walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
