Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Gomes kicked off to start the match. Tamer Açıker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee gave Maruai a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arthur Gomes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Baiaozinho's Oswaldo de Salles. 0-1. Oswaldo de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Senin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Váldson Tande fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maruai's protests and gave Váldson Tande a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Baiaozinho booed when Maruai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tamer Açıker scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oswaldo de Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tamer Açıker in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oswaldo de Salles saved Baiaozinho from getting behind. Oswaldo de Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tamer Açıker went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Váldson Tande hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Arthur Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maruai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 39 minutes into the match, Baiaozinho's goal looked a bit too open when Tamer Açıker came free, but Oswaldo de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardinho Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Maruai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardinho Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. Oswaldo de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamer Açıker, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tamer Açıker in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oswaldo de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maruai's Armandinho Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Gomes in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Dorival Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Armandinho Travassos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jonas Maia fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maruai's protests and gave Jonas Maia a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Maia hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Maruai played a much better game than Baiaozinho and deserved their victory. The Baiaozinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
