Isaltino Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Guerra having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Falcão in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robinho Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Marcelo Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robinho Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Robinho Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Falcão in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Marcelo Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isaltino Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. In the 41st minute of the match Renan Oliveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aníbal Figueiredo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in da Loop's zone, Marcelo Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho Guerra came out of the goal and Marcelo Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robinho Guerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Falcão went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, da Loop's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Baptista came free, but Robinho Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaltino Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Robinho Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Isaltino Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Construcciones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaltino Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinei de Toledo's late challenge caught a Construcciones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei de Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Construcciones booed when da Loop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaltino Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aníbal Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Isaltino Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Natanael do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aníbal Figueiredo. Construcciones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natanael do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Construcciones's Aníbal Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Magalhães in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, da Loop's Robinho Guerra got control of the ball when Isaltino Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Construcciones's Marcelo Falcão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robinho Guerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Isaltino Baptista hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Aníbal Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Bueno in the 91st minute of the match.
