In the 10th minute Gilvan Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alan Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pindoretama's protests and gave Alan Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Pindoretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Garcia to maneuver through the defense. If Emílio Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Valdir da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilvan Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Toscano having to interfere. Valdir da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Isaltino Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Leonardo Maranhense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Toscano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jonas Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Ramalho in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the NATIVOS defense, Gilvan Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Toscano. The NATIVOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Toscano should have stopped the shot. After the first half Pindoretama were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilvan Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emílio Corrêa struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Isaltino Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NATIVOS. Gilvan Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Toscano having to interfere. Tiago Gomes's late challenge caught a Pindoretama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, NATIVOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Toscano came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Pindoretama's Gilvan Ramalho. But to his dismay, Gilvan Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Juvenal Rocha hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gilvan Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilvan Ramalho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Jonas Toscano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ramiro Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jonas Toscano made a huge save. The supporters of NATIVOS booed when Pindoretama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdir da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Mendes having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Pindoretama's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Corrêa came free, but Isaltino Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilvan Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jonas Toscano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pindoretama. A collision led to NATIVOS getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Albertinho Andrade hit a great ball. Júnior Arantes, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 94 minutes into the match, NATIVOS's goalkeeper Jonas Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Maranhense. 96 minutes into the match, NATIVOS's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Ramalho came free, but Jonas Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pindoretama walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
