Ronaldão França made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Elói Senna hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jano Sampaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronaldão França. ZAVIADO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arthur Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Juarês Mangueira lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Nico Secco. After 29 played minutes MaraBaly got a freekick which was hit by Jano Sampaio. Nico Secco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Davi de Sousa. Arthur Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ronaldão França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Luan de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If José Maria Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 40 minutes, José Maria Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MaraBaly's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Maria Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juarês Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Secco having to interfere. Luan de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Secco having to interfere. Arthur Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ronaldão França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juarês Mangueira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Luan de Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nico Secco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 59th match minute, ZAVIADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes, MaraBaly's Jano Sampaio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronaldão França came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MaraBaly reached it. When Raúl Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZAVIADO's protests and gave Raúl Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. Raúl Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Enrique Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ronaldão França made a huge save. In the 69th match minute, ZAVIADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute José Maria Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ZAVIADO's Raúl Cunha got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Raúl Cunha off the ground. The crowd rose to their feet as MaraBaly's José Maria Falcão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronaldão França. That made the score 2-2 after 79 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, ZAVIADO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after José Maria Falcão fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in ZAVIADO's zone, Arthur Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldão França came out of the goal and Arthur Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kiko Fantini fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MaraBaly's protests and gave Kiko Fantini a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes MaraBaly got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Fantini. MaraBaly were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
