Spectators: 7285 (Terracing: 5466, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristóvão Araújo kicked off to start the match. Jorge Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Araújo in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to TemporariamenteAbandonado getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Flavinho Fontes hit a great ball. Jorge Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Aguiar in the 23rd minute of the match. Thiago Taffarel kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, TemporariamenteAbandonado's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Araújo came free, but Jorge Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Araújo in the 43rd minute of play. Jorge Bastos came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona de Itaquá FC's Francisco Aguiar. But to his dismay, Francisco Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavinho Fontes made a kick off. Francisco Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. TemporariamenteAbandonado's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristóvão Araújo 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Francisco Aguiar took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Bastos. Jorge Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Aguiar got free with Jorge Bastos in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Taffarel in the 69th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Francisco Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Jorge Bastos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Thiago Taffarel fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona de Itaquá FC's protests and gave Thiago Taffarel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TemporariamenteAbandonado booed when Barcelona de Itaquá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Taffarel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, TemporariamenteAbandonado's Jorge Bastos got control of the ball when Francisco Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Barcelona de Itaquá FC's Cristóvão Araújo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Jorge Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Araújo in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Barcelona de Itaquá FC's Francisco Aguiar made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! TemporariamenteAbandonado's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristóvão Araújo 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. Jorge Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Araújo in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barcelona de Itaquá FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
