Enrique Félix struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Roberto Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Torino. When Zé Augusto Moura fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blaze of Glory F.C.'s protests and gave Zé Augusto Moura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Blaze of Glory F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Moura to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Castro scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Sarmento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcel de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Sarmento having to interfere. The supporters of Blaze of Glory F.C. booed when AC Torino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Valadares charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Valadares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Blaze of Glory F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Charles Valadares. Rodolfo Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Sarmento having to interfere. A hard shot 26 in the game by Fábio Castro from a close distance when the talented Orlando Sarmento managed to make a qualified save. AC Torino's players were relieved. If Zé Augusto Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Blaze of Glory F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Marcel de Almeida hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Blaze of Glory F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tony Cunha came free, but Roberto Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Augusto Mouras short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Orlando Sarmento to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Orlando Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel de Almeida in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to AC Torino getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fausto Neves hit a great ball. Zé Augusto Moura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orlando Sarmento. AC Torino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zé Augusto Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Félix to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Tony Cunha notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Blaze of Glory F.C.'s Roberto Queirós. Roberto Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcel de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Sarmento having to interfere. If Fábio Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, AC Torino's Délio Gomes got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A hard, long distance shot from Rodolfo Paulista flew over the goal. Rodolfo Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Rodolfo Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blaze of Glory F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Paulista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Castro in the 87th minute of play forced AC Torino's goalkeeper Orlando Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel de Almeida succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 91st minute Fábio Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Simão Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, AC Torino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Passos to maneuver through the defense.
