Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walmyr Ceresso started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard de Medeiros in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas de Carvalho saved Dragão Mecânico from getting behind. In the 7th match minute, Dragão Mecânico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Maciel to maneuver through the defense. Jonas de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Teta FC's Antônio Carlos Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Ceresso in the 12th minute of play. If Gil Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas de Carvalho having to interfere. Jonas de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Nascimento in the 45th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Toledo was a little too slow when Walmyr Ceresso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 50th minute. The score was now 1-0.

After having played for 88 minutes, Walmyr Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragão Mecânico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmyr Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Richard de Medeiros lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Jonas de Carvalho. After a defensive mix-up in Teta FC's zone, Gil Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Carlos Toledo came out of the goal and Gil Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Teta FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
