After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Carlos Augusto Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claudinho Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

C.Votorantim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinho Santana should have stopped the shot. Leonel Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ernesto Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
