In the 14th minute, Basílio Alvarenga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Manoel Hames, passed just outside the right post. Christian Severo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Manoel Hames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boizebu FC. A collision led to Boleras FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Arí Meira hit a great ball. When Boizebu FC's Basílio Alvarenga in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boleras FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gernando Ramalho during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Boleras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Vitinho Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Manoel Hames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Boizebu FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Peixoto. Gernando Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Rezende having to interfere. After some careless play in the Boleras FC defense, Christian Severo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manoel Hames. The Boleras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manoel Hames should have stopped the shot. When Aírton Neves came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Boleras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aírton Neves couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The supporters of Boleras FC booed when Boizebu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitinho Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Aírton Neves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hílton Rezende. Aírton Neves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 63 minutes into the match, Boleras FC's Aírton Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hílton Rezende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gernando Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hílton Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Basílio Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Hames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boleras FC's Aírton Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dalmo Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boizebu FC's protests and gave Dalmo Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. Hílton Rezende was a little too slow when Aírton Neves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-2. Vitinho Peixoto hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aírton Neves in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gernando Ramalho took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hílton Rezende. Hílton Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4.
