The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joélson Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Teta FC's Joélson Duarte got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If Richard de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivape's Enio Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard de Medeiros in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, Ivape's Enio Toledo got control of the ball when Egídio Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enio Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard de Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Egídio Nascimento got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Teta FC's Richard de Medeiros, in the 16th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Teta FC. Teta FC's Joélson Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enéas Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enéas Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard de Medeiros in the 25th minute of play forced Ivape's goalkeeper Enio Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Moreno charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Moreno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivape's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Richard de Medeiros scored to the left of an out of position Enio Toledo, making the score, 1-0. Elói Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35thth minute of the game Egídio Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ivape's Enio Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Teta FC's Richard de Medeiros made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enio Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enio Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard de Medeiros in the 40th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Teta FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Correia. Enio Toledo made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Egídio Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard de Medeiros made a kick off. Richard de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Toledo having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Ulysses de Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ivape's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teta FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ivape fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Teta FC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Danilo de Toledo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ivape's Enio Toledo. 3-0. Egídio Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Toledo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Nascimento in the 67th minute of play forced Ivape's goalkeeper Enio Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Enio Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Egídio Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Egídio Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enio Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 71 minutes, Richard de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antônio Carlos Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elói Costa went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Danilo de Toledo, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Teta FC booed when Ivape was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Richard de Medeiros notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ivape's Enio Toledo. Enio Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Richard de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivape's Enio Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard de Medeiros in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Teta FC's Egídio Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enio Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enio Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, Teta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 100th minute Ivape were awarded a corner. Mauro Moreno went to the cornerflag to take it. Ivape's Mauro Moreno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antônio Carlos Toledo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
