Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jefferson Costa kicked off to start the match. Xupetas's Silvério Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Toscano in the 5th minute of play. Norberto Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Costa in the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of fodder booed when Xupetas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Chico Arósio in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Xupetas's Elói Faria. In the 15th minute, Jefferson Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Moraes in the 16th minute of play forced Xupetas's goalkeeper Silvério Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from José Vítor Pinheiro in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Xupetas's Reynaldo Velloso. If Reynaldo Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xupetas's attentive Elói Faria managed to snatch the ball when Chico Arósio made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. The throw-in from Chico Arósio in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Xupetas's Elói Faria. The audience was convinced that Jefferson Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Viana was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Jefferson Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Xupetas's Jefferson Costa in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye fodder's goalie prevented a goal. Eriberto Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Silvério Lopez made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Costa in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Viana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davi Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davi Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Viana having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Costa in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Viana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Toscano made a kick off. Jefferson Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to fodder getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Renato Moraes hit a great ball. Silvério Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Toscano in the 55th minute of play. Chico Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Xupetas's Dida Faria shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Norberto Viana but with some difficulty. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by fodder's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulinho Loyola was slow to take the kick. During this time Xupetas's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Xupetas's corner Paulinho Loyola fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Norberto Viana quite easily take care of the ball. Silvério Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Toscano went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Xupetas's Ademir Dantas was substituted for Leopoldo da Fonseca. Davi Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Viana having to interfere. Jefferson Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Norberto Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Davi Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xupetas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davi Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jefferson Costas short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Norberto Viana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Davi Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Norberto Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvério Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
