Jefferson Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wágner Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wágner Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Cristian Freire managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Xupetas's Jefferson Costa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The throw-in from Luiz Fabiano Quintal in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Xupetas's Reynaldo Velloso. If Reynaldo Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xupetas's attentive Reynaldo Velloso managed to snatch the ball when Luiz Fabiano Quintal made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Silvério Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Quintal in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Jefferson Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Luiz Fabiano Quintal in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Xupetas's Reynaldo Velloso. Jefferson Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cristian Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Jefferson Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Jefferson Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cristian Freire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Fabiano Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Costa in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xupetas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
