Genílson Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Simão to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Berger had several of the Guaravera's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed João Carlos Furlan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Victor Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Genílson Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th match minute, Guaravera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero Maia to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Silvério Pontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Carlos Furlan. Silvério Pontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Ulisses Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulisses Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexandre Tróia came out of the goal and Genílson Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Frank Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaravera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Simão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvério Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Frank Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alexandre Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ventura EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
