Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricardinho Figueiredo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ricardinho Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jailson de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Tarcisio Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jailson de Sena. Iguai FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tarcisio Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tarcisio Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jailson de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarcisio Hoffmann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Jailson de Sena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21st minute, Aníbal Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marmelada SC's Eugênio Moraes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jailson de Sena but with some difficulty. Jailson de Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tarcisio Hoffmann in the 24th minute. The supporters of Marmelada SC booed when Iguai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marmelada SC's Ricardinho Figueiredo in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iguai FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute Ricardinho Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarcisio Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson de Sena having to interfere. If Tarcisio Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anísio Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Iguai FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Clóvis Massa hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Clóvis Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Clóvis Massa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Iguai FC's goalkeeper Jailson de Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Ricardinho Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marmelada SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tarcisio Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarcisio Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arí Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Massa in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Anísio Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Adalberto Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Massa in the 69th minute of play forced Marmelada SC's goalkeeper Arí Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalberto Fantini got free with Arí Simões in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iguai FC's Jailson de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Figueiredo in the 71st minute of play. Tarcisio Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jailson de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Tarcisio Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jailson de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marmelada SC. In the 84th minute, Ricardinho Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marmelada SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Luizão Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luizão Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Luizão Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jailson de Sena came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Marmelada SC's Tarcisio Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Tarcisio Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Marmelada SC's Ricardinho Figueiredo got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Marmelada SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
