With a little luck, Belmonte's Moisés Leal got control of the ball when Mané do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Váldson Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mané do Valle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Moisés Leal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daniel Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Leal having to interfere. Moisés Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Mané do Valle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Moisés Leal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Váldson Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Walmir Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Belmonte getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Neves hit a great ball. Moisés Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Rodriguinho Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodriguinho Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodriguinho Cunha hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Edmílson Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edmílson Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viadutos FC's protests and gave Edmílson Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Edmílson Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Viadutos FC booed when Belmonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Váldson Tepedino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viadutos FC's Mané do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Luz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moisés Leal. Belmonte's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Moisés Leal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mané do Valle's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané do Valle in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés Leal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mané do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Leal having to interfere. After 63 played minutes, Viadutos FC's Alfredinho Miranda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moisés Leal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Viadutos FC reached it. During the 66th minute of the match Rodriguinho Cunha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rodriguinho Cunha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Belmonte getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rodriguinho Cunha hit a great ball. Mané do Valle struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Moisés Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viadutos FC. Victor Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mané do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Robinho Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Viadutos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robinho Carvalho couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mané do Valle in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés Leal saved Belmonte from getting behind. If Daniel Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané do Valle in the 86th minute of play forced Belmonte's goalkeeper Moisés Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robinho Carvalho took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Leal. Moisés Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 91 minutes into the match, Belmonte's goal looked a bit too open when Mané do Valle came free, but Moisés Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Leal came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Viadutos FC's Mané do Valle. But to his dismay, Mané do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Viadutos FC had played much better football throughout.
