Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Agnaldo Bertassi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in PARANÁ CLUBE's zone, Carlos Fernando Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Aguiar came out of the goal and Carlos Fernando Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romário Aguiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Cearense in the 9th minute. The supporters of LURAFA booed when PARANÁ CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. LURAFA's Váldson Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan França having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Luís Cearense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romário Aguiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Romário Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th play minute Luís Cearense came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Romário Aguiar. 2-1. With a little luck, PARANÁ CLUBE's Romário Aguiar got control of the ball when Luís Cearense tried to sneak it across the goal line. PARANÁ CLUBE's Romário Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save PARANÁ CLUBE from getting a goal against them. Romário Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47th play minutes Marco Dracena shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Alan França and just under the crossbar into goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Váldson Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. Romário Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Freire in the 61st minute of play. Agnaldo Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alan França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felippe Penha charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Penha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PARANÁ CLUBE! Váldson Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Luís Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. LURAFA's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romário Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Dorival Tande notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of PARANÁ CLUBE's Romário Aguiar. Romário Aguiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agnaldo Bertassi might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agnaldo Bertassi ran back to his position shaking his head. Agnaldo Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LURAFA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
