The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júnior Passos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 79th minute, Júnior Passos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Palmeiras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 83 minutes into the match, Diabo Verde F.C's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Mattos came free, but Kaspar Aunaste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vila Palmeiras FC booed when Diabo Verde F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Renato Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Afonso Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Diabo Verde F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vila Palmeiras FC.
