Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Laerte Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Osvaldo Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roger Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Koehler having to interfere. When Rodrigo do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Araripe EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo do Valle couldn't finish the play. Luís Paulo Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elivélton Brasil in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dé Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Rodrigo do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araripe EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Roger Britto made the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo do Valle struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Rui Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Araripe EC. In the 57th minute Laerte Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelinho Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Araripe EC's Cauã Tepedino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Roger Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Araripe EC's Dé Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Britto in the 76th minute of play. If Rodrigo do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Skz Rodeghiero got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Trancoso. 93 minutes into the game, Skz Rodeghiero's Roger Britto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dé Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Araripe EC were furious when José Pedro Pirani was red carded, 97 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Araripe EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! In the 100th minute there was a penalty for Skz Rodeghiero. Marcelinho Soeiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dé Koehler. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skz Rodeghiero walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
