Spectators: 7086 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Emerson Ceresso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Josué Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Cerezo in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enio Cerezo in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josué Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, Minuano FC's Charles Eger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josué Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enio Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Charles Eger might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josué Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Eger ran back to his position shaking his head. Josué Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Cerezo in the 32nd minute of the match. Dida Goiano's late challenge caught a Minuano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dida Goiano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ondina FC's Dida Goiano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Charles Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ondina FC's Emerson Ceresso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugo Zonta. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. In the 48th minute of the match, Emerson Ceresso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Zonta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles Eger to strike the kick off in the second half. Charles Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Charles Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minuano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enio Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. The referee showed Celsinho Custódio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Minuano FC booed when Ondina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Eger in the 66th minute of play forced Ondina FC's goalkeeper Josué Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
