Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Didi Lucas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Miguel Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Lucas in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Lopez in the 11th minute of play forced Japuim EC's goalkeeper Miguel Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Didi Lucas in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Arósio saved Japuim EC from getting behind. Gil Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Miguel Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Areinhas's Didi de Medeiros got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Zé Pedro Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Natã de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Areinhas's Jairo Souza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Japuim EC's Edinho Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Japuim EC's Miguel Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Lucas in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Godoi to make the kick off. Gil Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Arósio made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gil Lopez sent off a good shot on target. Didi Lucas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miguel Arósio came out and tried to block the shot, but Didi Lucas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 59th minute. A collision led to Japuim EC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Edinho Cardozo hit a great ball. Areinhas's Gil Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Didi Lucas took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Miguel Arósio to make any attempt to save it. Miguel Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Lucas in the 79th minute of play. Japuim EC's Miguel Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Japuim EC from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Didi Lucas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Miguel Arósio, passed just outside the right post. Zé Pedro Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Didi Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Miguel Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
