In the 2nd minute, Ciro Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caetano Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sidnei Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ciro Terra fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Noturno FC's protests and gave Ciro Terra a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Caetano Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidnei Hoffmann was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 26th minute Adalberto Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horácio Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Paranaense having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, RIO FUT 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Freire came free, but Pedro Luís Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ronaldão Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes of play, Noturno FC's Horácio Freire made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís Paranaense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Toninho Andrade hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes, RIO FUT 7 FC's Ronaldão Braga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sidnei Hoffmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RIO FUT 7 FC reached it. Edson Salles hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Caetano Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the RIO FUT 7 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Duarte couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Danilo Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Caetano Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Noturno FC's Sidnei Hoffmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If José Carlos Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Marcel Lopes in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RIO FUT 7 FC's Marcinho de Amaral. A hard shot 60 in the game by Adalberto Barbosa from a close distance when the talented Pedro Luís Paranaense managed to make a qualified save. RIO FUT 7 FC's players were relieved. Sidnei Hoffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano Duarte's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. If Adalberto Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RIO FUT 7 FC's Pedro Luís Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Freire in the 73rd minute of play. If Danilo Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Noturno FC's Marcel Lopes got a free kick in the 81st minute. Horácio Freire struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Pedro Luís Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noturno FC. In the 92nd minute, Horácio Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noturno FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over RIO FUT 7 FC's much stronger midfield.
