Léo Zanette started the match with the kick off. Sílvio Luís Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Beto Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Damião having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Léo Zanette in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Damião saved Black Star Wings from getting behind. Sílvio Luís Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beto Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Zanette in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's Léo Zanette ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beto Damião. Beto Damião yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Léo Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Beto Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Black Star Wings's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Zanette came free, but Beto Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sílvio Luís Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Damião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Black Star Wings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé de Brito to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's zone, Romeu Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Diniz came out of the goal and Romeu Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes Black Star Wings got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Pimenta. If Léo Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Black Star Wings's Beto Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Zanette in the 68th minute of play. Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Romeu Massa scored to the left of an out of position Chico Diniz, making the score, 1-1. Elder Azevedo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Romeu Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beto Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Léo Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Romeu Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Nicolas Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Black Star Wings were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcos Vidal took the corner. Marcos Vidal made a great header on Black Star Wings's corner, it was just that Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's Chico Diniz managed to reach the ball for a save. When Zé de Brito was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. The supporters of Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ booed when Black Star Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Star Wings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rômulo Tasso was slow to take the kick. During this time Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's Rômulo Tasso to fire away a dangerous shot which Beto Damião despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Black Star Wings to leave the ground with a draw.
