Chiquinho Monteiro scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelinho Motta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raimundo de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Renan Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes in the game, Fabiano Mineiro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Renan Cabral having to interfere. Marcelinho Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of Guaxupe booed when Demônios de Serrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Raimundo de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelinho Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaxupe's goalkeeper Marcelinho Motta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chiquinho Monteiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelinho Motta could save by the left post. Guaxupe's Marcelinho Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho Monteiro in the 84th minute of play. Fabiano Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Cabral having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Adelino Simão made a precise shot to the right of Marcelinho Motta. Guaxupe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Guaxupe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Demônios de Serrana's performance. The match ended with a win for Demônios de Serrana.
