Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Horácio Freire got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th match minute, Noturno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. When Augusto Chaves fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Noturno FC's protests and gave Augusto Chaves a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Chaves hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Nicolas Pena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sidnei Hoffmann. Noturno FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, Noturno FC's Adalberto Barbosa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chico Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute Léo Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Luís Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Hoffmann having to interfere. Sidnei Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Zanette in the 18th minute of play. Chico Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adalberto Barbosa in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Noturno FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Zanette. After a defensive mix-up in Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's zone, Horácio Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Diniz came out of the goal and Horácio Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalberto Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Noturno FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emílio Zanette in the 42nd minute. Noturno FC's Emílio Zanette was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chico Diniz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 43 minutes into the match, Noturno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Zanette came free, but Sidnei Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sílvio Luís Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Adalberto Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Noturno FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léo Zanette was the one to do the kick off. If Léo Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Noturno FC's zone, Léo Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Hoffmann came out of the goal and Léo Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalberto Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Adalberto Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Noturno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Barbosa couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes, Aílton Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noturno FC and the Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Noturno FC got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Queiroz. Sílvio Luís Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Hoffmann having to interfere. Léo Zanette was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sílvio Luís Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Hoffmann having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Horácio Freire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Chico Diniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Ciro Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elder Azevedo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. After 98 played minutes Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Pena.
