After 10 minutes, Joélson da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila Nova Goiânia DCF and the BRASILIENSE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vila Nova Goiânia DCF getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Joélson da Rocha hit a great ball. Yan Sampaio came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by BRASILIENSE FC's Renato de Castro. But to his dismay, Renato de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, BRASILIENSE FC's Samuel Branco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yan Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Sampaio having to interfere. Renato de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauan Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Chiquinho Tróia made a huge save. In the 30thth minute of the game Renato de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Nova Goiânia DCF's Yan Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Nova Goiânia DCF's zone, Nelson Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Sampaio came out of the goal and Nelson Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Renato de Castro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vila Nova Goiânia DCF's Yan Sampaio. Yan Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuel Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Yan Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Mello to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match, Samuel Branco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yan Sampaio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Branco in the 60th minute of play forced Vila Nova Goiânia DCF's goalkeeper Yan Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato de Castro got free with Yan Sampaio in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nelson Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Yan Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yan Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato de Castro in the 83rd minute of the match. Yan Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dênis Lopes got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 87th match minute, Vila Nova Goiânia DCF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Lopes to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, BRASILIENSE FC's Yan Sampaio threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Renato de Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 90 minutes into the match, Vila Nova Goiânia DCF's goalkeeper Yan Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Branco. After having played for 92 minutes, Samuel Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRASILIENSE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, BRASILIENSE FC's Yan Sampaio threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Renato de Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Vila Nova Goiânia DCF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BRASILIENSE FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
