Samuel Branco struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bæringur Kristbjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Raphael Veloso hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato de Castro in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bæringur Kristbjörnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roda jc's Bæringur Kristbjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Domingues in the 39th minute of play. If Renato de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umberto Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the final whistle sounded BRASILIENSE FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Roda jc.
