Yan Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Guartela EC's Gualter Veloso in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Gualter Veloso made the kick off in the second half. Yan Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Teixeira in the 51st minute. Giuseppe Capixaba's late challenge caught a Guartela EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Guartela EC booed when Vila Nova Goiânia DCF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee ignored Guartela EC's protests and gave Nicolas da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Guartela EC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas da Fonseca. Gualter Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gualter Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Yan Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vila Nova Goiânia DCF's Celso Domingues got a free kick in the 71st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Yan Sampaio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77thth minute of the game Gualter Veloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Nova Goiânia DCF's Yan Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yan Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Germano Linhares sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualter Veloso in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yan Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gualter Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Sampaio having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Guartela EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vila Nova Goiânia DCF.
