Bæringur Kristbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Veloso in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the game, José Carlos Pirani landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Nicolas da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guartela EC's protests and gave Nicolas da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Guartela EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Hudson Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bæringur Kristbjörnsson having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Luan Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 minutes, Gualter Veloso made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Roda jc's Bæringur Kristbjörnsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo José Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bæringur Kristbjörnsson having to interfere. Gualter Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Guartela EC's Gualter Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bæringur Kristbjörnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bæringur Kristbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Veloso in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Luan Vander notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Guartela EC's Vivaldo Zanette. Vivaldo Zanette was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gualter Veloso scored 1-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bæringur Kristbjörnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualter Veloso in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bæringur Kristbjörnsson saved Roda jc from getting behind. When Nicolas da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Guartela EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas da Fonseca couldn't finish the play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualter Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Gualter Veloso took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Bæringur Kristbjörnsson to make any attempt to save it. Roda jc's Bæringur Kristbjörnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Roda jc from getting a goal against them. Gualter Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Vivaldo Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubinho das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Zanette having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Guartela EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Guartela EC's Leopoldo Teixeira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bæringur Kristbjörnsson. Bæringur Kristbjörnsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Bæringur Kristbjörnsson was a little too slow when Gualter Veloso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-6. In the 75th minute, Gualter Veloso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bæringur Kristbjörnsson. The goal made the score 1-7. Nicolas da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bæringur Kristbjörnsson made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Gualter Veloso sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 84 minutes, Ezequiel Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guartela EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Gualter Veloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roda jc's Bæringur Kristbjörnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
