Matheus Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Dorel Plesca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Miranga AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gissaras:s goal. When the match had been going on for 51 minutes, Gissaras's Romeu de Souza got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Waldemar Palmeira. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cesinha Fontes made the kick off in the second half. Cesinha Fontes hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Romeu de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Gissaras's Romeu de Souza got a free kick in the 99th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Miranga AD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gissaras.
