Dé Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paraíba in the 16th minute of the match. Dé Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elói de Toledo went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Club Athletic Warszaw's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Marinho came free, but Miroslaw Maurycy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Washington Simão hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Paulo Renato Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Club Athletic Warszaw's Bruno Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dé Rezende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dé Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Elói de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Rezende having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Wilian Hoffmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Notreve FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Athletic Warszaw the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Renato Marinho made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Club Athletic Warszaw got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Veloso. When Natanael Senna fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Notreve FC's protests and gave Natanael Senna a yellow card for diving instead. Natanael Senna hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Notreve FC's Wilian Hoffmann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miroslaw Maurycy. Miroslaw Maurycy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 65thth minute of the game Elói de Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Notreve FC's Dé Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Club Athletic Warszaw's Elói de Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dé Rezende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Elói de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elói de Toledo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dé Rezende. Dé Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 90th minute Elói de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes, Luciano Favoretto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Notreve FC and the Club Athletic Warszaw players grew even worse after the yellow card.
