Geovânio Nogueira succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. A collision led to PICA-PAU AMORA FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Elivélton Sanches hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Messias in the 34th minute of play forced PICA-PAU AMORA FC's goalkeeper Gilson Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Elivélton Sanches put in a rough tackle. PICA-PAU AMORA FC's Gilson Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Messias in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nando Messias to strike the kick off in the second half. Caio Costa Club's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 59th minute of the game, when Fausto Teles after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of PICA-PAU AMORA FC's goal. Fausto Teles was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Nando Messias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilson Silva having to make a save. Gilson Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Messias in the 64th minute of play. Gilson Silva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fausto Teles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 65 minute of play. Oswaldo Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Oswaldo Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, PICA-PAU AMORA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Messias came free, but Gilson Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind PICA-PAU AMORA FC's goalkeeper Gilson Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 93 minutes, Geovânio Nogueira made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. PICA-PAU AMORA FC's Gilson Silva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Caio Costa Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PICA-PAU AMORA FC.
