Clandestino FC's Marco Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Clandestino FC from getting a goal against them. Clandestino FC's Cido Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Tijuco FC booed when Clandestino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tijuco FC's Durvalino Nóbrega got a free kick in the 44th minute.
