Léo de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Joaquim Berger made a huge save. Lino Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Joaquim Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valente FC. Valente FC's Jorginho Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo de Godoi in the 43rd minute of play. Jorginho Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Dedê Queiroz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquim Berger. Joe Bartus FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Valente FC's goalkeeper Jorginho Prata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustão Mendes. Abelardo de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jorginho Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joe Bartus FC. Jorginho Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th match minute, Valente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Jorginho Prata was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Faustão Mendes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 100 minute of play. Joe Bartus FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
