If Frederico Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Rosa in the 37th minute of play forced Paulista FC's goalkeeper José Pedro Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Manfredo Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Mangueira having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Horácio da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulista FC and the Mineirinhos Faminto players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mineirinhos Faminto had played much better football throughout.
