Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afonsinho Soeiro started the match with the kick off. Sandrinho Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Duarte Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Guarapuava booed when Pinto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sílvio Luís Reis, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Afonsinho Soeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kiko Schmidt having to make a save. After 16 minutes, Glauco Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinto and the Guarapuava players grew even worse after the yellow card. Glauco Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Felippe Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Saraiva having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Pinto got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Valladares. In the 24th match minute, Guarapuava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Tiaguinho de Castro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guarapuava's Kiko Schmidt didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Soeiro in the 27th minute of play forced Guarapuava's goalkeeper Kiko Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Schmidt came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinto's Roger Paraense. But to his dismay, Roger Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Roger Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guarapuava's Fernandinho Zanette got a free kick in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Guarapuava's Felippe Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Saraiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Pinto's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Sousa came free, but Duarte Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Kiko Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Felippe Sousa made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Glauco Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pinto's Afonsinho Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Guarapuava's João Carlos Valle got a free kick in the 60th minute. The Pinto fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Pinto's Afonsinho Soeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Pinto getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Glauco Valladares hit a great ball. After 68 minutes of play, Guarapuava's Sandrinho Duarte made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Saraiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guarapuava's Sandrinho Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonsinho Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonsinho Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guarapuava's Kiko Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Soeiro in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Sousa in the 82nd minute of play forced Pinto's goalkeeper Duarte Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonsinho Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Kiko Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Sousa in the 86th minute of play. Guarapuava's Felippe Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandrinho Duarte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Duarte Saraiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guarapuava's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
