Adriano Cosme helped the player get up and apologised. Adriano Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Almir da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Aírton Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Almir da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aranau's supporters rose to their feet, but Almir da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reginaldo Maia got in the 14th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marco Aguiar handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. During the 19th minute of the match Adriano Cosme completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adriano Cosme a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Bonfim Paulista Fut Show getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Adriano Cosme hit a great ball. Almir da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bonfim Paulista Fut Show's zone, Almir da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aírton Novaes came out of the goal and Almir da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Cléber Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermínio Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Marco Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Hermínio Sarmento sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th match minute, Aranau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Aranau's José Augusto Amorim got a free kick in the 58th minute. Cléber Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reginaldo Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes Aranau got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Vargas. After 77 played minutes Bonfim Paulista Fut Show got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Sarmento. If Almir da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Aírton Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Carvalho in the 90th minute of the match. Aranau's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
