In the 5thth minute of the game Gildo Valladares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mira AD's Pedro Luís Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mathias Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Perez having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Mirary's Mathias Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Luís Perez. Pedro Luís Perez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When Mirary's Gildo Valladares in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mira AD's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes into the game, André Luís Miranda lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Pedro Luís Perez. 27 minutes into the match, Mira AD's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Perez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Brito. The audience was convinced that Juninho de Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Luís Perez was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Pedro Luís Perez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alberto Trevisan. Pedro Luís Perez was a little too slow when Juninho de Medeiros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 5-0. Juninho de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute Cido Barros suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Betinho Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mira AD's protests and gave Betinho Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. When Washington da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Mira AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Washington da Silveira couldn't finish the play. The Mirary fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Mirary's Mathias Brito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elivélton Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, André Luís Miranda put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Luís Perez. If Mathias Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Juninho de Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mirary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 86th minute, André Luís Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luís Perez. Mira AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. In the 90thth minute of the game André Luís Miranda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mira AD's Pedro Luís Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Miranda couldn't finish the play. Mirary walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
