Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anísio Leão made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Orlando de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Peixoto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Orlando de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magno Pereira struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Renatinho da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sagrado. When Raimundo Borges came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sagrado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Borges couldn't finish the play. Amorim FC's Anísio Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Raimundo Borges rounded Amorim FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Jacinto Peixoto came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Amorim FC's Orlando de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Orlando de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 28th minute of the match Edgar Camargo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Peixoto skillfully saved the ball. If Raimundo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Amorim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Borges came free, but Renatinho da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Renatinho da Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Sagrado's Magno Pereira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Renatinho da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Borges to make the kick off. Renatinho da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magno Pereira's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Raimundo Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Renatinho da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Borges in the 61st minute of play forced Amorim FC's goalkeeper Renatinho da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Anísio Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amorim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sagrado the free kick. After a rather tough play, Amorim FC's Anísio Leão got a free kick in the 64th minute. Renatinho da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Sagrado's goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Leão came free, but Jacinto Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 79th minute, but Jacinto Peixoto got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Sagrado hanging dry this time. Anísio Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Peixoto having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Sagrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Mota to maneuver through the defense. If Anísio Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Márcio Mota fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sagrado's protests and gave Márcio Mota a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Amorim FC booed when Sagrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márcio Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiori Duarte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacinto Peixoto. Sagrado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Sagrado defense, Orlando de Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Peixoto. The Sagrado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Peixoto should have stopped the shot. The Amorim FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
