The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Çağrı Zübeyr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Çağrı Zübeyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mané de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mo Salah hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Mané de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağrı Zübeyr, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Eusébio Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. E C JUVENTUDE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mané de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağrı Zübeyr, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Romero in the 47th minute of play forced Catole's goalkeeper Mané de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Baiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Oscar Siqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Mané de Andrade made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Segundo Romero took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Mané de Andrade to make any attempt to save it. Çağrı Zübeyr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catole's Mané de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Catole from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Segundo Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Segundo Romero took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Mané de Andrade to make any attempt to save it. In the 77thth minute of the game Segundo Romero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catole's Mané de Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 minutes of play, E C JUVENTUDE's Çağrı Zübeyr made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mané de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Eusébio Baiano notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of E C JUVENTUDE's Carlos Secco. Carlos Secco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, E C JUVENTUDE's Dedé Figueiredo got a free kick in the 88th minute. Mané de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Siqueira in the 90th minute of play. After 95 played minutes, Catole's Natã de Amaral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Secco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Catole reached it.
